Honoring Architecture Alumni
The School of Architecture & Environment is a creative and rigorous design community, where faculty and students engage to solve real-world problems in a collaborative and supportive setting. Within the school, the Department of Architecture provides the skills and mentorship needed for students to tackle complex global challenges and positively affect the people, communities, and environments around them. One of those opportutities for mentorship and skillbuilding comes courtesy of the Distinguished Architecture Alumni Lecture Series.
The Distinguished Architecture Alumni Lecture Series recognizes an active alumna or alumnus of the Department of Architecture who has made a significant contribution to the built environment in the Pacific Northwest region and beyond. Additionally, the department analyzes the alumni's advancement of the discipline and practice with any involvement in the education of future architects through their engagement with academia and/or their mentorship and guidance within the realm of practice. The recipients of this distinction are unique individuals who have had a distinguished career, as seen throughout their professional experience, made a significant impact in their community, and have made generous commitments to the betterment of future architects.
