Contemporary interior design practice blends research and analysis with practice to create human-centered environments. Our faculty and students engage users, observe behavior, and analyze data to understand and improve contemporary spaces and elements.
As actively practicing professionals, our faculty members are contributing to current developments in design practice and research both at home and abroad and sharing those experiences with their students. Students have the opportunity to work with faculty researchers on projects and to experience first-hand how research influences design decisions in all aspects of interior design.
