Applicants who meet the March 15 deadline are guaranteed:

  1. A BIArch admission decision, and
  2. If admitted, a course equivalency evaluation to determine eligibility for advanced placement in the fall term (when applicable)

To support the transfer course evaluation process, applicants should submit all college or university transcripts to UO Admissions by the application deadline.

Determining what credit you will receive for prior coursework is a two-phase process.

  1. The first phase is at the university level to determine which credits will become transferable. See additional information about how credits from previous institutions will transfer to the University of Oregon and what you can do to track that process on the Transfer Credit Information page.
  2. The second phase occurs at the department level to determine how UO-approved transferable credits will be used to waive specific course requirements in the BIArch curriculum
