
The School of Architecture & Environment (SAE) is celebrating the inclusion of four students from the departments of architecture and interior architecture in the 2025 METROPOLIS Future100. METROPOLIS is the architecture and interior design publication that specializes in forecasting and spotlighting the future of architecture and interior design. The Future100 program annually recognizes the top graduating students in the field with an in-depth series of articles.
These students hail from some of the best schools in North America and are nominated by their instructors and mentors. This pool of nominees is whittled down to 50 interior design and 50 architecture students chosen by the METROPOLIS team. The College of Design is proud to showcase and recognize the four students featured in this year's publication. Jiuyu Zhou was selected in the Interior Design Undergraduate category, Alexia Solis was selected in the Interior Design Graduate category, and Melanie Guyer and Alborz Nazari were selected in the Architecture Graduate category. Each student's nominator were able to send a quote to praise their work and creativity. Here's what the faculty had to say about their nominees:
