The Department of Architecture within the School of Architecture & Environment fosters a collaborative, supportive learning culture grounded in open dialogue, mutual respect, and shared discovery. We believe that meaningful design emerges from honest exchange, critical thinking, and a spirit of cooperation.
Our programs are committed to inclusivity, bringing together students and faculty with a wide range of experiences, perspectives, abilities, and aspirations. This diversity enriches the learning environment and strengthens design thinking. We encourage intellectual curiosity as the foundation for design exploration, supporting students in pursuing design excellence without prescribing a single aesthetic, approach, or ideology.
